Selection: Dayton (-10.5)

Davidson (15-12, 9-6 Atlantic 10) looks to put an end to the nation's longest win streak when it travels to take on No. 4 Dayton (26-2, 15-0) at University of Dayton Arena. The Flyers are off to their best-ever start and have their highest ranking since being third in 1955-56.

The Wildcats are coming off of a 25-point home victory over La Salle, as Kellan Grady scored 22 points, Jon Axel Gudmunsson added 14 and the ‘Cats opened the game on a 10-0 run to win their sixth straight game at home.

But things will be much different in hostile territory on Friday night.

National Player of the Year candidate Obi Toppin scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to help the Flyers get past George Mason in their last outing and clinch at least a share of the Atlantic 10 regular-season title in a lackluster performance for Anthony Grant's crew, which has now won 17 games in a row. Jalen Crutcher added 13 points as Dayton shot 50 percent from the floor.

Ibi Watson broke out of his long slump by finishing with nine points on 4-of-7 shooting. It was first time he made more shots than he attempted since January 22, and he had his highest point total since scoring 14 on January 25. Perhaps he is ready to finish the season strong.

The Flyers are 15-0 at home, and expect that mark to move to 16-0 with a win over Bob McKillop's group. Davidson took care of the basketball and crashed the offensive boards in its easy win over La Salle, but Dayton is a different animal.

The Wildcats lead the A-10 in 3-point shooting at 36.8 percent, with Grady leading the way at 37.3 percent. Meanwhile, the Flyers rank first in the A-10 at 79.9 points per game and have outscored their opponents 82-62.5 during their 15-game home win streak.

Because the Flyers didn't play their best game in their last outing, expect them to be much more focused and able to cover the 10.5-point spread.
